It is good to love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is well done.
I hope you are all well and find strength and spirit with the above quote. I love yoga! I love teaching yoga! I love seeing people grow on their mat. I love seeing the benefits of yoga manifest in people; from the initial physical benefits, to the spiritual and social emotional components that we all find due to the power of the practice.
During this quarantine, we are all finding ways to combat the restlessness of the body; which is calmed through an asana practice (poses). The consciousness can now be directed inward to the soul, which lies beyond the senses and material awareness.
We are all reaching higher levels of union (to Yoga) through moving meditation and controlling the body-bound senses. And when we practice with love and self-love, the transformative effects of the practice are overwhelmingly joyous. Take time to appreciate and taste the spiritual bliss you’ve worked so hard to cultivate.
