 The Yoga Room will start their Yoga in the park series beginning Sunday, 6/14 at Gantry Plaza State Park. In Astoria Park, their first yoga class will be on 6/27. On 7/12, I'll be leading the one-hour class from 10-to-11 am. This is an amazing event and the incredible scenery at Gantry is the perfect backdrop for a moving meditation. Hope to see you there.

A few days have passed since The Yoga Room's house party event… and I'm still in awe of how awesome the vibe was and how stunning it was to see that many bodies moving, having fun and decked out in glow bracelets. On Friday, Dina Ivas, DJ Shisaa and myself, took over Workout Factory over in Long Island City, hosting an epic yoga rave. Pre-class excitement got into me as eager yogis filed in. As soon as the class started, we were all in our element. I want to send a big thank you shout-out to Dina Ivas for conducting the evening festivities with me. Massive thanks and a "BIG-UP!" to Anna Morgan -aka- DJ Shisaa, for cranking some dope beats on the 1s and 2s. For all the yogis that showed up… UNBELIEVABLE! All of you rock. We've already had a few attendees asked, "When's the next one?" We'll keep you updated on plans for another one.
