"Winter is a season of recovery and preparation." -- Paul Theroux
Seasonal Affective Disorder can be disabling for many during the cold Winter months. How can you beat the cold, effects of holiday events and the short days with daylight? MOVEMENT. A steady Yoga regimen, focused breathing practice and a regular schedule to keep you on track is the best way to release tension, stay invigorated and increase your serotonin levels so you can triumph during the coldest days of the year.
Poses like backbends can help awaken, legs up the wall regulates circulation and twists nourish the spine and internal organs.
Along with cardiovascular stimulation, the above poses will keep you balanced and focused to slay the cold.
This week, our featured teacher, Demetra, will help facilitate and cultivate goodness in her dynamic flow.
We'll continue to add on-demand classes to our library so if you miss LIVE classes, you'll have a selection of yoga classes to flow with anytime you want. Only available to UNLIMITED subscribers. Coming soon: individual pre-recorded classes for sale.
